Who we are
This website is run by Poss Dev Studio Ltd, a UK private limited company. It is registered in England and Wales, company number 17495664. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. We are the controller of the personal data described here.
What we collect
We only collect personal data when you send us a message through our contact form. The form asks for:
- your name
- your work email address
- your message, and anything you choose to include in it
How we use it
We use these details only to read and reply to your message, and to keep a record of our conversation with you. We do not use them for marketing, and we do not sell or share them except with the service providers listed below.
Our lawful basis for this is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.
Service providers
- Netlify hosts this website and receives contact form submissions, which it stores and forwards to our company mailbox. Netlify is based in the United States. It is certified under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and also uses standard contractual clauses, so your data is protected when it is processed there. See Netlify's Privacy Policy.
- Spacemail, the business email service run by Spaceship, holds the company mailbox that your message is forwarded to and that we reply from. See Spaceship's Privacy Policy.
- Umami gives us simple, cookie-free visitor statistics (for example, which pages are visited). It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally. We never send your form details to Umami. The statistics are hosted by Umami Cloud.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies. Our visitor statistics (Umami) are cookie-free and aggregate: they store nothing on your device and cannot be used to identify you, so there is nothing to opt out of. Our contact form uses a hidden field to catch automated spam rather than a cookie-based check.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form submissions and our replies for up to 12 months after our last contact with you. If we go on to work together, we keep them for the life of that engagement and for 6 years afterwards as part of our business records.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. To make a request, send us a message using the contact form.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
